Dronendra Phanikumar Guraja is popularly known as Flute Phani
He is an Empanelled Flute Artist – Festival of India Abroad – Ministry of Culture – Govt. of India.
Carnaatic Flute Performer (20+Exp), Flute Mentor (10+Exp) and S/W Engineer (8+Exp)
Flute Phani is the Fifth-Generation disciple in the line of Saint Thyagaraja Shishya Parampara.
Disciple of ‘PadmaSri’, Dr. Sri Annavarapu Ramaswamy (who accompanied with ‘Padmavibhushan’ Dr. Sri Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna for more than 10,000 concerts)
Flute Phani visited USA with prestigious invitation from ROOTS - U.S.A (for the World Wood Festival-2017) and University of Silicon Andhra ( for the felicitation on Telugu New Year Day - Ugadi - 2017).
Received Ghantasala Memorial Puraskar, Titles (Sangeeta Vidwanmani, Sarasa Sangeetha Venuganalola) and Awards (Best Young Talented Musician, Veda Appreciation).
He composed Learn Flute by Yourself (Level 1 – ONLINE Carnatic Flute Video Tutorials) and NADA YOGA (an audio album for concentration, meditation and stress release purpose).
Flute Phani has been performing both SOLO and FUSION concerts by incorporating the cream of Indian Classical Music with modern instrumental techniques which makes him UNIQUE.
At a tender age of 9 Yrs, Flute Phani started learning Vocal and Harmonium from his mother, FLUTE Basics from Late Sri.Timmaraju Kameswara Rao (Flutist) and Late Sri Iynampudi Venkateswara Rao (Violinist). He experimented a lot to incorporate his own style for playing compositions with all decorations. This is the secret of his flute which resembles like a vocal, musically mesmerizes people across all barriers of age, boundaries and communication.
Flute Phani and his wife, Smt.Sridevi Guraja together established an organization “Siraj” mainly to fulfil his musical dream of “Proliferating Carnaatic flute artists across the globe” as they are very few in number when compare to other music faculties like Vocal, Violin and Veena etc ...
To meet this objective, Flute Phani has designed and executing various simple, creative and unique projects namely SOCMS – Siraj Online Carnaatic Music School (for FLUTE & VOCAL), WORKSHOPS - Unity Flute Event ( A Corporate Team building with FLUTE for EMPLOYE Community), NIPUN (Soft-Skill improvement program with FLUTE for STUDENT Community), Venu Bodhini ( Carnaatic Flute Tutorials with YouTube Channel name FlutePhani).
